Requirements
Must:
We are looking for a hands-on Head of Cyber Security with a solid background in network security architecture and experience in managing and leading a Security Operations Center (SOC) team. You should possess excellent stakeholder and client management skills, along with a supportive and empowering management style. A good knowledge of NIS2, ISO27001, and ISO22301 is essential, as you will be part of the team responsible for maintaining these standards. Your technical knowledge should encompass:
- Cloud Technologies (Azure, AWS)
- SIEM
- Networking (Firewalls, Routers, Switches)
- Encryption
- Monitoring and Backup Tools
- Virtualization
- Authentication
- Access Control
Responsibilities
As the Head of Cyber Security, you will join our senior management team to further develop our cyber security services while also managing a site-based cyber team. You will be the lead Technical Design Authority (TDA), responsible for creating High-Level Design (HLD) and Low-Level Design (LLD) documentation and designing secure networks to protect our clients' infrastructure and data. You will take management responsibility for the SOC, which involves overseeing a shift pattern and out-of-hours rotas to ensure that key services are effectively delivered to our clients. Additionally, you will be in charge of the War Room during cyber incidents, ensuring swift and effective response to any issues.
