Junior Java Developer

If you already have programming experience and want to carve out a long-term career in Java, this role places you side by side with some of East Anglia’s top Java talent. Every day will bring variety as you contribute to bespoke client solutions, work hands-on with a powerful business management platform, and collaborate with clients to deliver tailored, web-based systems. You can expect to dive into Java, Groovy, SQL, Eclipse, and more as you build your technical foundation. We are a growing tech company located just outside Ipswich, actively looking for a Junior Java Developer to join our close-knit team. This is your chance to gain hands-on experience, learn from experienced developers, and develop into a fully-fledged Java professional. You will work with technologies such as Java, Groovy, SQL, XML, and web technologies, as well as open-source Java frameworks (bonus points if you’ve dabbled with them!). Additional exposure to Linux or MySQL will be a plus. We offer a salary range of £35–45k per annum (DOE), along with 25 days of holiday, pension, remote/hybrid working options, and ongoing training and development with mentoring from senior developers.
