Requirements
Must:
We are looking for candidates with extensive experience in Java and the Spring framework. Experience with AWS and cloud-native applications is essential, while familiarity with TypeScript and React would be a plus. You should also possess knowledge of professional development methodologies, CI/CD pipelines, version control (Git), and automated testing. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and collaborative skills are vital, as is the ability to work independently when needed. Please note that candidates must be UK residents to apply for this role.
Responsibilities
As a Software Engineer at our company, you will write high-quality code that adheres to corporate and regulatory standards, with automated tests developed alongside. You will collaborate with your team to deliver new features and enhance existing functionality. Providing engineering support for our existing applications will also be part of your role, ensuring that all solutions are secure, maintainable, and performant. Additionally, you will review your colleagues' code to ensure conformance with established standards and document all solutions according to agreed team practices. Continuous skill development, embracing new technologies, and cultivating strong working relationships across the team and the wider business are key aspects of this position.
Description
We offer a full-time, permanent role with a starting salary of up to £65,000 (dependent on experience) and a remote-first working model.
