Requirements
Must:
- Strong commercial experience with Java (core and modern frameworks)
- Hands-on experience with Node.js
- Proven background delivering solutions in AWS environments
- Understanding of microservices, APIs, and distributed systems
- Experience working in Agile / DevOps environments
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and cloud-native tooling
- Experience with Kafka
Responsibilities
- Design and implement scalable, event-driven architectures
- Build microservices and deploy solutions in a cloud-native environment
- Collaborate with the team on solution design and architecture
- Maintain and optimize existing applications
- Ensure code quality and performance through testing and reviews
Description
We are seeking a Java Developer for a 12-month contract with a competitive rate of £400 (Inside IR35). This hybrid role can be performed from Birmingham, Manchester, Leeds, or Newcastle. We value experience in Government projects and are looking for someone with strong expertise in Apache Kafka, Node.js, and AWS cloud services.
