Requirements
Must:
- I am seeking a Senior Infrastructure Engineer with strong Windows Systems Administration experience, including Active Directory, Group Policy, Virtualization, and Backup services, preferably in a finance environment.
- I require scripting experience with PowerShell, Python, or similar languages.
- You should have experience with application packaging and deployment.
- A good understanding of basic networking concepts and switching is essential.
- I value process-oriented candidates who can think creatively and solve problems effectively.
- Collaboration and excellent communication skills are key traits I am looking for.
- Ideally, you will have experience with Azure cloud infrastructure and familiarity with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform, Pulumi, or CloudFormation.
- A degree in Computer Science (2.1 or above) is preferred but not necessary if you possess the right skills and experience.
Responsibilities
- In this role, I will expect you to manage the deployment, configuration, troubleshooting, and overall management of our IT infrastructure, specifically focusing on Windows Server administration.
- You will provide 3rd line support and assist with network hardware, including switches, routers, firewalls, and load balancers, as well as voice and video hardware and software.
- You will also be involved in assisting with our on-premise and cloud compute infrastructure, particularly in Azure.
