Must:
We are looking for candidates who possess strong technical and people leadership skills. You should have advanced experience in building cloud-native, distributed systems using Java and Spring Boot. A strong knowledge of AWS, including Amazon EKS, is essential, along with experience in Kafka and event-driven architectures. We value collaboration and pragmatism, so great communication skills are a must, as you'll be interacting with various teams and business stakeholders.
Responsibilities
As a Lead Java Developer, you will be part of a new team focused on developing a crypto offering. Your role will involve a mix of hands-on development and people management, allocating approximately 70% of your time to development and 30% to leadership. You will set the technical direction, mentor engineers, and ensure that code quality, observability, scalability, and security are prioritized in high-quality, high-impact releases. You will work with a modern, cloud-native tech stack, utilizing Java, Spring Boot, AWS, Kafka, and CI/CD to build highly scalable, distributed systems with 24/7 availability.
