Requirements
Must:
- I am looking for someone with strong technical and team leadership skills, who is comfortable mentoring, coaching, and upskilling others on the team while providing hands-on technical leadership.
- You should have strong Vanilla JavaScript development experience combined with TypeScript and React skills (please note that there will be a tech test involved in the interview process).
- Experience with UI data visualization tools (e.g., Chart.js, D3.js) is essential.
- I need someone who has worked on enterprise-scale web applications and has full software development lifecycle experience, including a solid understanding of testing.
- Strong technical project management skills with a focus on delivery are necessary.
- A good knowledge of software engineering best practices and computer science fundamentals (such as OOP, Data Structures, and Design Patterns) is required.
- You should be collaborative with excellent communication skills and have experience working in Agile teams.
- A keen interest in working in a start-up/scale-up environment is preferred.
- A degree in Computer Science or a similar technical discipline is expected.
Responsibilities
- As a Front End Developer / Technical Lead, you will collaborate closely with UX Designers, Product Managers, and Backend Software Engineers to architect, design, and develop highly scalable and performant web applications featuring sophisticated Data Visualizations.
- I expect you to provide hands-on technical leadership to a small team of mid-senior Front End Engineers, including coaching, mentoring, and conducting 1-2-1s, while ensuring consistent high quality and adherence to standards.
- You will face various technical challenges as our company scales, and you will have excellent opportunities for career progression while helping to grow the team around you.
