Requirements
Must:
We are looking for a candidate who has proven experience as a Network Analyst or in a similar role. You should possess in-depth expertise with Extreme Networks hardware and software, alongside a strong knowledge of network protocols and services such as TCP/IP, DNS, and DHCP. Experience with network monitoring and diagnostic tools and a familiarity with network security best practices and tools are essential. You must have excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, as well as strong communication and teamwork abilities. Relevant certifications, such as CCNA, CCNP, or CompTIA Network, are required. Additionally, knowledge of cloud networking and virtualization technologies, along with experience in scripting and automation for network management, will be highly beneficial.
Responsibilities
In this role, you will be responsible for monitoring network performance to ensure optimal operation. You will analyze network traffic patterns to identify potential issues and areas for improvement. On-site customer support will also be part of your duties. Your role involves developing and implementing network optimization strategies, performing regular network security assessments, and mitigating potential risks. You will configure and maintain network hardware and software components, collaborate with IT colleagues to design and deploy network infrastructure projects, and continuously provide technical support while troubleshooting network-related issues. Additionally, you will create and maintain detailed network documentation and reports and stay updated with the latest network technologies and industry trends.
Description
This full-time position will be based on-site (this is not a hybrid or work-from-home opportunity) with occasional on-call requirements, for which you will receive additional compensation. The work environment will predominantly be office-based in the West End area of London.
