Must:
We are looking for a Principal Data Engineer with demonstrable experience in the following technologies: Databricks (DLT, Performance Tuning, Cost Optimization), PySpark, Python, SQL, and ADF. You should have capabilities in leading a data engineering team, being technically hands-on, and driving projects to completion. Experience running a scrum team is essential. We also require proficiency in Data Modeling, Data Integration & Ingestion, and ELT.
Responsibilities
In this role, you will conceptualize and design data foundations and end-to-end solutions, including data platforms, to maximize value from data for the business. You will lead hands-on technical delivery, serve as a visible community leader for data engineers, and conduct quality presentations and training sessions. You will need to possess a vast array of technology skills, with deep expertise in at least two core technologies (Azure, AWS, SAP). Your communication skills should enable you to engage effectively with both technical developers and business managers. You will drive change and improvement through an understanding of the inter-relationship between People, Process, Data, and Technology. Additional responsibilities include coordinating the change management process, incident management, and problem management processes while driving implementation efficiency and effectiveness across pilots and future projects to minimize costs and maximize value delivery. You will also contribute to community building initiatives.
