Requirements
Must:
- ETL processing languages such as Python
- Knowledge of Apache Spark / NiFi / Kafka
- Experience with relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL) and NoSQL databases (e.g., MongoDB, Cassandra)
- Familiarity with AWS and data-related services
- Understanding of Palantir Foundry
- Analytical thinking and a passion for national security
- Experience in stakeholder engagement
Responsibilities
- Manage and develop data pipelines to transform raw data into valuable insights
- Design and tooling for data ingestion and pipeline orchestration
- Integrate and enrich data from various sources, ensuring data consistency and quality
- Design and code ETL processing such as NiFI
- Create clean, secure code following a test-driven approach
- Maintain and develop existing architectural components including Data Ingest and Data Stores
- Investigate and diagnose issues with integrated data as part of an operational team
- Implement data security measures to protect sensitive information
- Help the scrum team decompose user requests and key results into epics and stories
- Monitor data systems for performance issues and make necessary updates
