Requirements
Must:
- Strong experience in C# test automation (SpecFlow & Azure).
- Hands-on experience working with large, complex data sets in a testing context.
- Experience with API testing, database validation, and test data management.
- Familiarity with DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud-based environments.
- A passion for automation, problem-solving, and continuous improvement.
Responsibilities
- Designing, implementing, and optimizing test automation frameworks using C# and SpecFlow.
- Developing and executing automated tests for applications handling large-scale data sets.
- Integrating automation into CI/CD pipelines to streamline quality assurance.
- Collaborating with developers, QA, and DevOps teams to enhance test coverage and reliability.
- Identifying performance bottlenecks and ensuring scalability in test execution.
Description
We are a forward-thinking tech-driven company that is expanding its test automation capabilities. We are looking for a Test Automation Engineer to develop and maintain robust automated test solutions using C#, SpecFlow, and Azure DevOps, ensuring quality across complex data-driven applications. If you are passionate about building scalable test frameworks and thrive in environments where data is king, we would love to hear from you! This position is offered as a 6-month initial contract with a hybrid work model of 2-3 days per week based in Edinburgh, and we are offering a rate of £475 per day (Inside IR35).
