Requirements
Must:
- Proficiency in relational databases such as MS SQL, MySQL, and Mongo.
- Experience with programming languages and frameworks including PHP, Java, JavaScript, Spring Boot, and React.
- Familiarity with source code management using Git.
- Knowledge of systems integration, including APIs and workflows.
- Ability to create and maintain reporting systems and dashboards.
- Strong attention to detail, with a proven ability to deliver projects on time.
- Excellent problem-solving skills, with strong analytical and debugging capabilities.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with our existing Software Developer to maintain and develop various internal systems, including a bespoke CRM system.
- Work on critical projects to consolidate and integrate systems across two sites, establishing single sources of truth and eliminating duplication and manual processes.
- Prepare for the migration to a cloud-based records system and integrate it with existing systems.
- Integrate internal systems with new hosted external application systems and SaaS-based systems.
Description
We are seeking a temporary Software Engineer for a 3-month contract to support critical projects and meet the growing needs of our combined institution. This role is primarily based in our Bournemouth offices, with hybrid working options considered. The position requires a commitment of 5 days a week, Monday to Friday, totaling 36.25 hours per week.
