Must:
As our ideal IT Support & AV Specialist, we are looking for individuals who have:
- Experience with provisioning services and Audio Visual (AV) systems
- Excellent customer service skills and a desire to exceed customer expectations
- Strong verbal and written communication abilities
- Excellent organization and prioritization skills
- The ability to establish and maintain effective relationships with customers, colleagues, and suppliers
- Capability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Ability to work effectively under pressure
- Strong Microsoft Office skills, particularly in Excel
- A good understanding of IT security principles and controls
- Skills in documenting processes and procedures
- A proactive approach to problem-solving and a genuine desire to get to the underlying cause of issues to improve service
Responsibilities
As our IT Support & AV Specialist, your responsibilities will include:
- Providing technical support for all aspects of the Audio Visual service across all Bibby Financial Services offices
- Guiding and providing technical expertise to the business to maximize benefits from existing solutions
- Managing the relationship with the AV Service Provider
- Producing and sharing best practice advice on AV services for internal customers
- Resolving escalated technical issues from the IT Service Desk in a timely manner
- Proactively managing the health of the AV systems to ensure they are operational when needed
- Delivering VIP IT support to the BFS Board and Executive Leadership team, including assistance to their PAs on-site
- Working on tickets in our IT Service Management (ITSM) tool to provide excellent hardware and software provisioning to all BFS employees
- Visiting UK and other offices as required to assist with IT issues that cannot be resolved remotely, including performing periodic inventory verifications and managing IT assets
- Planning, testing, and undertaking endpoint deployments, refreshes, or updates as required
