Requirements
Must:
- Experience with provisioning service and AV
- Excellent customer service skills with the desire to exceed customer expectations
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Strong organisational and prioritisation skills
- Ability to establish and maintain effective relationships with customers, colleagues, and suppliers
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Ability to work effectively under pressure
- Strong Microsoft Office skills, particularly in Excel
- Good understanding of IT Security principles and controls
- Skilled in documenting processes and procedures
- A proactive approach to problem-solving with a genuine desire to address underlying issues and improve service
Responsibilities
As our IT Support & AV Specialist, my responsibilities will include:
- Providing technical support for all aspects of the Audio Visual service across all BFS offices; this involves guiding the business to maximize the benefits of the solutions in place.
- Owning and managing the relationship with the AV Service Provider.
- Producing and sharing best practice advice on AV services for our internal customers.
- Taking ownership of resolving technical issues escalated from the IT Service Desk to ensure timely resolution.
- Proactively managing the health of the AV system to ensure it operates as needed.
- Providing IT support to the BFS Board, Executive Leadership team, and their PAs on-site in Pembroke House, Banbury, tackling any software, hardware, and AV-related issues.
- Working on tickets in the ITSM tool to provide excellent provisioning service for hardware and software to all BFS employees.
- Visiting UK and other offices as required to assist with unresolved IT issues, including office setups, periodic inventory verifications, and managing IT assets on-site.
- Managing the provision of new, replacement, and allocation of machines, planning, testing, and undertaking endpoint deployments, refreshes, or updates.
