Requirements
Must:
- Previous experience in a 2nd line IT support role.
- Strong knowledge of Windows environments, Microsoft 365, and standard business applications.
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure in a customer-focused environment.
Responsibilities
- Provide 2nd line technical support for hardware, software, and network issues.
- Troubleshoot and resolve escalated service desk tickets within agreed timescales.
- Support the installation, configuration, and maintenance of IT equipment and systems.
- Liaise with 3rd line support teams and external suppliers when necessary.
- Maintain accurate records of incidents, solutions, and asset management.
Description
We are currently looking for an experienced 2nd Line IT Support Officer to join our NHS Trust on an initial 3 month temporary contract. This role focuses on providing high-quality technical support to our staff, ensuring smooth operation of IT systems and resolving escalated issues.
