Senior Business Intelligence Analyst

In this role, you will work with teams of data developers and analysts to lead projects that provide the highest quality analysis and advice. You will extract, integrate, and analyze complex data from multiple systems using advanced SQL. Providing advice to senior leaders on strategic and operational performance management will be a key part of your responsibilities, as will identifying where performance insights can inform business decisions, drive improvements, and shape future plans. You will collaboratively engage with a range of stakeholders to understand requirements in order to deliver complex pieces of work, gather insights, and support the development of new mechanisms to assess impacts and measure performance. Developing and presenting data visualizations, including analysis of key issues using tools such as Power BI, SSRS, Visual Studio, and Excel, will be essential. You will also produce high-quality, user-friendly reports and dashboards that display complex information and statutory data, ensuring actionable stories with clear recommendations to improve outcomes for local people and organizational effectiveness. Additionally, you will ensure that performance management information is timely and robust, used to improve data quality, share insights, and strengthen accountability across the organization. Enabling data to be accessed by colleagues through the development of self-serve capabilities will also be part of your remit.
