To be successful as a Technical Product Owner – Network Service Automation & Orchestration, I look for candidates who have experience with:
- Designing and building secure, fault-tolerant, enterprise-grade distributed automation systems focusing on user experience. This includes developing business-facing APIs and web interfaces that support adoption and scalability across various domains such as Provisioning, Security, Configuration, and Service Change Processes, as well as DNS/IPAM, Performance Monitoring, and Observability, spanning Fixed, Wireless, and Virtual environments.
- Defining, documenting, and communicating a clear product direction for Network Service Automation & Orchestration that aligns with both business goals and user needs. You should be skilled in maintaining a prioritized product backlog and working closely with component engineering teams, with familiarity in API-level integration between systems.
- A solid understanding of network fundamentals (e.g., IP/MPLS, BGP, Ethernet), scalable system design, and data structures. You must be able to translate technical information into structured formats for product and engineering teams and be proficient in data modeling, wireframing, and documenting end-to-end automated workflows using tools such as UML and service/functional specifications.
Responsibilities
In this role, I will hold you accountable for:
- Providing subject matter expertise to support collaboration between product owners and the technical side of product development.
- Supporting the development and implementation of the product strategy and vision as outlined in the product roadmap and communicating them effectively with relevant stakeholders and the development team.
- Collaborating with internal stakeholders to gather and prioritize product requirements and features based on business value and feasibility while ensuring they are well-defined, measurable, and secure.
- Developing and implementing assessments to ensure continuous testing and improvement of product quality and performance.
- Monitoring product performance to identify opportunities for optimization in line with the bank's performance standards.
- Staying updated with the latest industry technology trends to evaluate and adopt new approaches that enhance product development and delivery.
