Requirements
Must:
I am looking for candidates with a relevant data qualification or equivalent professional experience. You should possess extensive knowledge and experience in data analysis and visualization tools, as well as proficiency with Microsoft products and digital technology, including automation and AI. Your ability to communicate complex technical matters in simple, credible ways that inspire action will be essential. Strong communication skills are necessary, demonstrating a proven ability to connect with and influence colleagues at all levels, including senior management and trustees. Additionally, you should uphold high standards of personal conduct and integrity.
Responsibilities
In your role as an Assurance Data and Insights Specialist, you will lead the collection of credible, valuable data from across the organization and liaise with stakeholders on data collection and analysis. You will provide guidance, support, and training to Assurance colleagues on data analytics and visualization. Your key responsibilities will include developing, implementing, and maintaining processes and systems that enhance the efficiency of the Risk and Assurance team, producing and presenting compelling data analysis, visualization, and storytelling for colleagues and wider stakeholders. You will help lead and manage Assurance colleagues, sharing your expertise and driving a culture of continuous improvement while staying current with sector best practices in data and digital capabilities.

As part of the Finance & Assurance directorate, you will report directly to the Assurance & Counter Fraud Manager and act as the subject matter expert on data and digital tools.
