Requirements

Must:
- ACA, CIMA, or ACCA qualified. - Previous cost management experience, including budgeting, forecasting, and achieving savings. - Strong relationship management, analytical, negotiation, and influencing skills. - Effective stakeholder management skills, with the ability to present and communicate well at all organizational levels, both online and in person. - Strong business and commercial acumen. - Proactive, motivated, and adaptable with a “can-do” attitude. - Proven ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines, and handle confidential data with integrity. - Experience in the insurance industry or financial services sector is advantageous. - Eligible and authorized to work in the United Kingdom.

- Lead expense partnering to influence key business outcomes like growth and profitability. - Build relationships with senior stakeholders, including the Head of Finance, CFO, and leadership teams. - Turn data into compelling insights and stories to support cost management and strategic goals while influencing decision-makers. - Drive a cost-conscious culture by engaging leadership to embed spend management and actively manage spending. - Supplement standard cost reports with ad-hoc analysis to identify risks, opportunities, and cost-saving measures. - Oversee monthly cost performance reporting, tracking against budgets, risks, savings, and long-term planning. - Lead negotiations and reviews of budgets and forecasts, ensuring targets are met and KPIs achieved. - Collaborate on accurately allocating costs across channels, products, and functions, maintaining governance and control over cost models.

At AXA - Global Healthcare, we are seeking a talented Expense Partner to join our team in Tunbridge Wells on a full-time, permanent basis. This newly created key role provides a unique opportunity to influence decision-making at the highest levels within our organization. Our work environment is flexible, allowing you to balance your time between home and the office in a way that suits you, your team, and our customers. You will work remotely at least 40% of your week, with the majority of your working week expected to be away from home by September 2025, which may include attending office locations, visiting clients, or participating in industry events. We appreciate the people who work for us; our rewards package is regularly reviewed to be competitive. You can expect an annual salary of up to £55,000, depending on experience, along with an annual company and performance-based bonus, a contributory pension scheme, life assurance, private health cover, 28 days of annual leave plus Bank Holidays, and opportunities to buy or sell extra leave days.
