Requirements
Must:
We are looking for candidates with proven experience as a Technical Architect, Solutions Architect, or Lead Developer. You should have strong hands-on experience with .NET (C#) and Azure cloud services. A solid understanding of architectural patterns, such as microservices and event-driven architecture, is essential. Knowledge of DevOps practices, CI/CD, and infrastructure-as-code is also needed. You should possess excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills and feel comfortable working in Agile environments. Experience with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) and familiarity with front-end frameworks (React, Angular, etc.) would be beneficial. Additionally, knowledge of data architecture and integration patterns is a plus.

Responsibilities
In this role, I will expect you to define and own the architecture for new and existing .NET/Azure-based platforms. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, product owners, and stakeholders, to translate business requirements into technical designs and scalable solutions. Driving best practices in software architecture, DevOps, and cloud infrastructure will be a key part of your responsibilities. Moreover, you will mentor and guide development teams on architecture and coding standards, as well as evaluate new technologies and provide thought leadership around modern tech stacks.

This is a remote-first position with minimal travel, requiring just 12 days per month to our Leeds hub for collaboration and strategic planning sessions. We offer a competitive salary of £70,000 per annum, along with flexible, remote-first working conditions.
