Requirements
Must:
- I am looking for someone with strong Platform Engineering or DevOps experience, ideally within a SaaS environment.
- You should have in-depth knowledge of Kubernetes with hands-on experience of deploying at scale.
- Experience running 24x7 services in Azure is required (experience with AWS or GCP will also be considered).
- A deep understanding of cloud infrastructure and services, including best practices around monitoring, scaling, and security tools such as DataDog, is essential.
- Strong scripting skills with PowerShell (or Python) are important.
- A good knowledge of basic networking, specifically TCP/IP, is required.
- I would like you to have a good understanding of Infrastructure as Code (IaC); experience with Pulumi is preferred, but Terraform experience is acceptable.
- Experience in microservices environments is important.
- You should be comfortable with technical project leadership.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills are a must.

Responsibilities
- As a Platform Engineer, you will proactively monitor production environments.
- You will be responsible for designing and implementing automation and processes to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
- You will lead incident response, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis activities to mitigate future issues.
- Collaboration with senior business stakeholders to gather requirements, address concerns, and provide updates on projects and systems status will be part of your role.
- You will work with engineering, support, and operations teams to help upskill them, supporting knowledge transfer via documentation.
