Requirements
Must:
We are looking for a Backend Engineer with strong experience in Django and at least one year of experience. You should have a solid understanding of databases, specifically MySQL and Postgres, and be familiar with API design using REST or GraphQL. Strong debugging, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills are essential, along with the ability to write clean, maintainable, and testable code. Experience with AWS or other cloud platforms is a bonus.
Responsibilities
As our Backend Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining backend services and APIs. You will work with MySQL and Postgres to design performant and reliable data models. Ensuring system performance, scalability, and security will be key to your role. You will collaborate with frontend teams to integrate APIs with Next.js applications, build foundational systems using Django, and participate in architectural discussions, contributing to group-wide tech standards.
Description
We offer a competitive salary of up to £55,000, dependent on experience.
