Requirements
Must:
- You must be security cleared.
- Proven hands-on SIEM Engineering background.
- Extensive experience working with security logs across multiple domains, including identity and access, network, system, data, application, and cloud, as well as various product types.
- Proficiency in data analysis and scripting languages such as PowerShell and Python.
- Strong knowledge of Security Orchestration, Automation, and Response (SOAR).
- Experience in team leadership, with excellent collaboration and stakeholder management skills.
Responsibilities
- I will be maintaining the SIEM platform, which includes onboarding log sources, creating custom parsers, developing analytic rules, and automating triage and remediation processes.
- I will ensure optimal performance, scalability, and integration of the security monitoring platform with security tools.
- I will participate in infrastructure projects to develop, plan, and implement solutions for security monitoring.
- I will design, implement, and maintain detection rulesets while scoping, planning, and tracking log integrations.
- I will guide, develop, and grow the SIEM Engineering team.
- I will collaborate with the wider Threat Detection & Response team to ensure the SIEM platform meets day-to-day needs and support incidents as necessary.
