Requirements
Must:
We are looking for candidates with a strong background in SharePoint Online development and SPFx. You should have experience with React, TypeScript, and Office UI/Fluent UI. Proficiency in PowerShell scripting for automation and administration is essential, along with a solid understanding of Power Platform integration with SharePoint Online. Collaboration with development teams on complex projects is also required.

Responsibilities
In this role, you will serve as a key technical lead for SharePoint Online and Microsoft 365. Your key duties will include designing, developing, and maintaining SharePoint Framework (SPFx) web parts and extensions using React and TypeScript. You will collaborate with stakeholders and developers to achieve advanced SharePoint customizations, support integration and workflow automation using the Power Platform, and develop and maintain scripts to automate administrative tasks. Additionally, you will advise on best practices for modern SharePoint development and governance, ensure that solutions are secure and compliant with Microsoft 365 best practices, and participate in code reviews, testing, and deployment processes.
Description
This is an initial 6-month contract position that is fully remote and offers around £500 per day inside IR35. You will be part of a high-profile Microsoft 365 programme, providing scalable, maintainable, and modern collaboration solutions across our organization. Desirable skills include exposure to SharePoint REST API, enterprise-scale SPFx solutions, Azure Functions, Logic Apps, and an understanding of external collaboration security models and governance.
