Requirements
Must:
- Strong programming ability in Golang.
- Understanding of Site Reliability Engineering or Platform Engineering concepts.
- Solid understanding of DevOps principles and patterns, along with strong CI/CD pipeline delivery.
- Experience in Cloud Automation and Orchestration with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) principles, utilizing platforms and tools like Ansible, Terraform, CloudFormation, or similar.
- Proficient in consuming RESTful APIs, API Gateway integrations, and relevant API specifications for creating, deleting, and updating desired API endpoints.
- Automation skills across Jenkins, GitHub, GitLab CI/CD Pipelines, Ansible, Terraform, etc.
- Experience in network, load balancer, and especially firewall automation projects in architecture and engineering roles.
- Experience with Checkpoint technologies is advantageous.
- Awareness of low-code platforms to enhance infrastructure workflow development.
- Knowledge of building automation capabilities within an organization through intent definitions or self-service platforms.
- Candidates must undergo background checks before commencing the contract.
- Must be an EU citizen.
- Occasional travel may be required.
Responsibilities
- Contribute to the architectural definition of automation frameworks and workflows for flexible and consistent policy deployment on a global scale firewall footprint.
- Develop reusable infrastructure automation patterns and enhance them for a comprehensive automation approach to firewall policy deployment.
- Serve as a subject matter expert (SME) to technical network and security engineering teams regarding building automation solutions and their integration with existing product APIs.
- Assist in defining and building self-service capabilities for policy deployment.
- Develop automation logic to achieve desired business outcomes from technical, compliance, and security perspectives.
