Requirements
Must:
We are looking for a candidate with at least 4 years of Magento development experience. You should be proficient in PHP and familiar with tools like Git, Jira, Bitbucket, and agile processes. Additionally, we value solid problem-solving abilities and a collaborative mindset. A good understanding of responsive design, performance optimization, and cross-browser/device compatibility is essential.
Responsibilities
In this role, you will be responsible for delivering tailored features and functionality across various ecommerce projects. Your key duties will include developing and maintaining bespoke Magento functionality, working with our development team to ensure new code aligns with the Magento framework while delivering great performance, and reviewing code and pull requests to support peer development. You'll manage tasks across multiple client projects and support boards, troubleshoot and resolve technical issues from support channels, and integrate APIs for backend services such as ERP and warehouse systems. Additionally, you will support team leads in improving development workflows, mentor junior developers, contribute to technical documentation, and recommend new tools and approaches. Staying up to date with ecommerce trends and technologies will also be a vital part of your role.
Description
This position is primarily remote, though our team meets onsite once a month near Farringdon. While there is no specific requirement to attend these meetups every month, some flexibility would be beneficial. If you enjoy building custom ecommerce solutions, integrating complex systems, and collaborating in a supportive tech environment, we would love to hear from you.
