We are looking for a Server Infrastructure Engineer with strong experience in server management. You should have a solid knowledge of Windows Servers, VMWare, SAN, and M365, including skills in configuring virtual networks and backups. A proactive attitude and a willingness to learn are essential. An IT degree is also required.
Responsibilities
As a Server Infrastructure Engineer, I will expect you to assist in the management of server infrastructure, including both physical and VMware vSphere environments. You will monitor and resolve issues with the server infrastructure, following our organisational reporting processes. You will also be responsible for infrastructure configuration and collaboration within a diverse team of IT professionals, including Server Engineers, Network Engineers, and IT Support staff.
Description
This is a temporary position for 6 months, with the likelihood of moving to a permanent role. The salary is in the range of £35-37k per annum, and the role includes holiday pay and a pension. You will have the opportunity to work in a hybrid environment, with one day per week onsite in Belfast. Join us to play a key role in the development and maintenance of our server and cloud infrastructures, and support our IT team's objectives in delivering organization-wide business services.
