Requirements
Must:
- Experience administering and supporting Unix/Linux systems in a development or operational environment, including writing and maintaining automation scripts using shell scripting or languages such as Python.
- Experience operating within a DevOps environment, applying Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) practices, with hands-on involvement in Agile Scrum teams to support iterative software delivery.
- Experience writing, implementing, and maintaining Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools such as Terraform, Ansible, or similar, focusing on building consistent, automated infrastructure deployments.
- Experience designing, maintaining, and troubleshooting CI/CD pipelines, ensuring code is built, tested, and deployed reliably across environments using modern DevOps toolchains.
- Experience working effectively within multidisciplinary Agile teams, collaborating with developers, testers, and operations staff to deliver solutions, influence engineering decisions, and continuously improve delivery practices.

As a DevOps Engineer, you will build our products and applications alongside researchers, testers, architects, analysts, and designers as part of multi-functional agile delivery teams. You will engage in problem-solving and contribute to innovative technology that provides real value for millions of users. Collaboration is central to our work, and we value ideas from all team members, irrespective of their title or position within the hierarchy. You will be part of a supportive Engineering community of practice, comprising hundreds of engineering experts from across the UK, united by passion and purpose. We will provide you with the tools and time to enhance your skills through coaching, mentoring, qualifications, formal learning opportunities, and meet-ups.
