Requirements
Must:
- I am seeking a UAT Tester with a strong customer service background and experience or demonstrable knowledge in testing.
- I prefer candidates who have previous experience as a UAT or Manual Tester, or similar roles, especially those familiar with MS Dynamics 365.
- Proficiency in Excel is essential.
- While an ISTQB tester qualification is preferred, it is not mandatory.
- I value candidates who can produce testing-related documents and possess a high level of accuracy.
- Good communication skills, especially the ability to explain complex technical concepts to a non-technical audience, both verbally and in writing, are crucial.
- I am looking for someone with a positive attitude, who is proactive, adaptable, and a team player.
- The ability to work under tight deadlines and pressure is also necessary.
Responsibilities
- I will require you to test the new CRM system, Dynamics 365, performing all system testing for new functionality, as well as regression testing for prior functionalities.
- You will use Agile methodology, working in a 2-week sprint cycle to deploy features as part of a dedicated IT and business team.
- In this role, you will engage regularly with team members, including developers, Business Analysts (BAs), and business users.
- You will also support end users in conducting their UAT and manage testing and project activities using Azure DevOps (ADO). This includes writing and running test scripts, recording bugs, commenting on, and updating work items, and linking work items as necessary.
- Your involvement may extend to other projects as required by the test lead, based on the workload within the CRM project.
- Please note that this is a manual testing position, and no automation is involved.
Description
- The role is hybrid, requiring initial onsite presence during training before transitioning to a flexible testing schedule. - This is a 6-month contract position, inside IR35, with a pay rate of up to £175 per day. - I do not provide sponsorship for this role, so candidates must have the right to work in the UK.
