Requirements
Must:
We are looking for enthusiastic Senior Test Engineers who have proven experience in designing and automating software tests, ideally for web and API applications. Strong proficiency in Typescript/Playwright, Java/Selenium, or similar modern testing frameworks is essential. You should also have familiarity with cloud-based testing platforms like BrowserStack Automate, and experience working in Agile/Scrum environments. Additionally, experience in Non-Functional testing practices, including Security, Performance, and Accessibility Testing, is required. Some beneficial experience in areas such as API, AWS, Docker, JMeter, MongoDB, and SQL would be an advantage. We expect you to have the capability to coach and mentor other Test Engineers as well.
Responsibilities
In this dynamic role, you will join a scrum team dedicated to transforming our automated testing approach for Companies House services. Your main responsibility will be to encourage an automated-first approach, taking ownership of our test strategy with a strong emphasis on automation. You will collaborate closely with the team to drive quality throughout the development process. You will play a key part in our recent migration to the state-of-the-art Playwright/TypeScript stack, integrated with BrowserStack Automate while fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
