Requirements

Must:
We are seeking sole UK nationals who have been living and working in the UK for the past 5 years. Essential experience for the Principal Appian Developer includes extensive experience with Appian Software and other development tools such as IDEs and source code management. A strong knowledge of Software Development Life Cycles (SDLC) is necessary, along with familiarity with waterfall, iterative, and agile approaches to software delivery. Proven development experience and proficiency in business process design using UML and BPMN techniques are also required.

Responsibilities

In this role, I will lead a team of dedicated developers to ensure that we deliver technical solutions for our customers on time and to the expected quality standards set by the Systems Development Manager. Day-to-day, I will work with multiple workflow applications (both new and existing) and will undertake requirements reviews, technical design, modeling, software development, unit testing, and deployment of new applications. Additionally, I will focus on enhancing existing applications through continual improvement processes, ensure that software development adheres to IT quality plans and procedures, and collaborate with the team by attending workshops, reviews, and stand-ups to discuss development projects. I will also prepare comprehensive documentation to support completed applications.
