Requirements
Must:
- I require a degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or an equivalent qualification.
- I am looking for proven experience in a similar Cloud Engineer position.
- A strong understanding of networking, security, and cloud governance is essential.
- Experience with CI/CD tools such as Azure DevOps, Jenkins, or CircleCI is necessary.
- Proficiency in scripting languages such as PowerShell or Python is advantageous.
- Excellent problem-solving skills are a must, with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve cloud infrastructure issues.
Responsibilities
- I will be designing, deploying, and managing cloud infrastructure (Azure/AWS).
- It is important for me to implement security best practices for cloud environments, including identity and access management, encryption, and monitoring.
- I will develop automation scripts and utilize Infrastructure as Code.
- Optimizing cloud environments for cost, performance, and reliability will be one of my key tasks.
- I will work closely with development and operations teams to support CI/CD pipelines.
- Monitoring system performance and ensuring high availability and scalability will be significant parts of my role.
Description
I am offering a Cloud Engineer position on a 12-month fixed-term contract with a salary range of £40,000 - £50,000 (DOE) along with great benefits. This is a full-time role, with a hybrid work model allowing for 2 days per week from our office in North Yorkshire.
