Requirements
Must:
We seek a candidate with either a minimum of a Master's Degree and two years of commercial low-level programming experience, or a PhD in Mathematics, Computing, Cryptography, or a similar relevant discipline gained from a top-tier university. You should have working or research knowledge of Compilers, Cryptography, Blockchain, and/or Algorithms. Experience with zero-knowledge proofs would be highly beneficial. Proficiency in programming languages including Go, Rust, Solidity, and C/C++ is required. We are looking for someone who has experience with low-level software either as an engineer or researcher, and possesses an understanding of mathematical models, particularly regarding financial instruments and code security. A regular user of programming language theory, you should also be able to design with a bigger picture in mind, relating to the consequences of your decisions.
Responsibilities
As a PhD Software Security Engineer / Cryptographer, you will be involved in reviewing complex, high-assurance smart contract code. Your engineering skills will be applied to build custom tools to rapidly assess, explore, or secure code. We expect you to advise clients on making informed decisions about risks to their financial systems and to use your expertise to help solve challenging security problems. Additionally, you will continuously enhance your skills through various personal and professional development opportunities.
