Must:
We are seeking a Senior Network & Integration Solution Architect who possesses current and live Developed Vetting (DV) Security Clearance. You should have extensive experience in network design, including BGP and IP addressing for both on-premise (VMWare) and Hyperscale cloud platforms.
Responsibilities
In this role, you will lead the design and generation of networking artifacts for all Secret Cloud hosting platforms while supporting network security assurance activities. You will be responsible for creating technology designs that underpin Secret Cloud Service Offerings, ensuring they comply with MOD 604 and 440 governance. You will also create High-Level and Low-Level network designs to integrate Tier 2 Hyperscale cloud onto the Defence Network. Collaboration with supplier network leads for both on-premise and Hyperscale platforms, as well as cross-government networking leads, will be essential. Moreover, you will provide support to relevant working groups across both Defence and the government.
Description
This is an initial 6-month contract position that falls inside IR35 regulations. We offer hybrid working arrangements, requiring you to be on-site 2-3 days a week near Bath and allowing for 1-2 days of remote work. Your expertise in network design and integration will play a crucial role in supporting our Cloud Hosting Platforms.
