Requirements
Must:
- Good software integration and system testing experience.
- Accreditation in Software Certified Testing (ISTQB or ISEB) is essential.
- Strong team collaboration skills, working alongside other testers and software development teams.
- Experience in a dynamic team environment.
- Strong communication skills.
- Experience with either C# or the .Net stack, particularly MVC, is preferred but not essential.
- Familiarity with Azure DevOps and Kanban boards is preferred but not essential.
- Some experience with Automated Testing is a plus, but not essential.
Responsibilities
- Contribute towards test planning.
- Collaborate with project teams to understand the scope of projects.
- Work closely with software developers and project support teams.
- Conduct various types of testing, including functional, scalability, regression, discovery, stress, and performance testing.
- Test development work to ensure it meets acceptance criteria and aligns with development specifications.
- Write and execute test plans.
- Test software in different environments, including web and mobile platforms.
- Document and communicate findings to both technical and non-technical colleagues.
- Write bug reports and assess code quality.
- Identify issues and raise tickets as necessary.
- Provide objective feedback to software development project teams.
- Troubleshoot issues and design tests to mitigate risks.
- Ensure adherence to departmental and project deadlines.
Description
We are a fast-growing UK Fintech SaaS company based in Horsham, West Sussex, and we take pride in our market-leading Finance SaaS platform used by finance companies across the UK and Europe. We are currently seeking a Software Tester to join our team and collaborate on our client’s award-winning SaaS system. You will be responsible for quality assurance and testing, including various integrations from third-party providers. This position is primarily focused on manual testing with the opportunity to delve into automation in the next 12 months. We are looking for individuals who have an eye for detail and a passion for technology. This is a full-time role located in our Horsham offices near the town centre, with convenient parking and shops nearby. Please note, we do not offer remote or hybrid work options, and we are unable to provide visa sponsorship at any time.
