Requirements
Must:
We are looking for a Full Stack Engineer with the following skills and experience:
- General understanding of databases and working knowledge of Postgres
- Proficiency in querying languages such as SQL
- Front-end skills including React, Streamlit, and JavaScript
- Experience with Azure Functions and best practices for cloud application security, including identity and access management (IAM), encryption, and secure coding
- Proficiency with code version control using Git and repo branching strategies
- Strong programming skills, particularly in Python, with optional knowledge in Node.js, and experience with FastAPI or Flask
- Familiarity with Docker and AI/data science-related technologies, including Python AI and analytics tools, large language model APIs, and vector databases
- Understanding of CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure as code (IaC) using tools like Terraform, and monitoring/logging solutions such as Azure DevOps
- Effective time management skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work autonomously while meeting deadlines
Responsibilities
In this role, you will play a crucial part in transforming innovative ideas into Minimum Viable Products (MVPs) that leverage Azure's technology stack. Your main responsibilities will include:
- Developing and maintaining web applications and user interfaces
- Conducting automated testing to ensure the quality and reliability of applications
- Building secure APIs and implementing best practices in application security
- Collaborating with our AI and Data Science teams to support project goals
- Managing database interactions and utilizing querying languages to optimize performance
- Implementing CI/CD processes and infrastructure as code to streamline development workflows
- Ensuring that projects are delivered on time and meet our high standards of accuracy and detail
Description
This is an initial six-month contract with the potential for extension. We are happy to discuss a hybrid work opportunity, though there will be a requirement for office presence several days a week.
