Requirements
Must:
We are looking for an ideal candidate who possesses the following:
- 3-5 years of work experience and demonstrable skills in SQL, Oracle PL/SQL, Oracle Forms, and Oracle Reports.
- Experience in Unix/Linux operating systems and command-line tools.
- Understanding of the full development lifecycle, including requirements capture, analysis, design, testing, documentation, maintenance, and configuration management.
- Familiarity with using version and source control to manage and share source code.
- Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively both as part of a team and independently, with meticulous attention to detail.
- Enthusiasm for continuously learning new skills, tools, and techniques.
- A commitment to staying updated with industry-standard software engineering processes and methodologies.
- Understanding of confidentiality and data protection issues.
- Up-to-date knowledge of Information Security practices, with the ability to comply with internal policies.
Responsibilities
As a PL/SQL Developer, you will be responsible for:
- Developing software solutions by integrating appropriate technologies in new developments, enhancements, improvements, and upgrades to existing systems.
- Reviewing and maintaining current systems, presenting ideas for system improvements related to development, coding, testing, and configuration that align with customer requirements.
- Performing unit, integration, and sometimes manual testing of modules and applications.
- Preparing necessary documentation, workflow diagrams, and user guides.
