Requirements
Must:
I am looking for an individual with a proven track record in a similar Power BI Developer role, specifically with strong skills in dashboard development and visualization. You should have demonstrable expertise across Power BI and tooling such as SSRS, SSIS, and DAX, along with strong SQL skills that include querying and query performance monitoring. It’s crucial that you have the ability to lead technical projects and liaise effectively with staff from various disciplines. Additionally, mentoring internal staff and collaborating with external representatives or suppliers will be part of your responsibilities.
Responsibilities
In this role, you will act as a key Subject Matter Expert (SME) for all aspects of Business Intelligence (BI). You will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining user-friendly Power BI and Management Information (MI) reporting solutions and dashboards. Leading relevant projects and initiatives will be essential, and you will oversee scope, quality assurance, and implementations. You will work closely with key representatives and stakeholders to gather requirements for new features and dashboard solutions that align with our broader Business Intelligence strategy. Additionally, you will liaise with other IT staff to gather and analyze data to ensure the reports are fit for purpose. You will also be a key point of contact when developing strategies for deploying and governing Power BI, which includes aspects like licensing, training, and support.
