Requirements
Must:
We are looking for an experienced Data Analyst/Developer with the following skills and experience:
- Strong proficiency in SQL.
- Extensive experience with ingesting and manipulating data from APIs, raw files, and databases.
- Practical expertise in Power BI, including shaping, dimensionally modeling data, and utilizing DAX.
- Familiarity with Azure Functions and Azure Service Bus.
- Excellent knowledge of Database Design and a solid understanding of the data lifecycle, including ingestion, transformation, and consumption.
- Strong data manipulation skills, along with the ability to work with relatively large datasets.
Responsibilities
In this role, I will take full ownership of data analytics across the organization and drive Business Intelligence with a data-centric approach. I will:
- Collaborate with stakeholders to manage the entire data lifecycle, from data creation to reporting, ensuring that they can effectively interpret and utilize data for informed decision-making.
- Elicit requirements and manage stakeholder expectations to drive actionable data projects and reports for departmental decision-making.
- Design visually impactful dashboards that are user-friendly, performant, and allow for drill-through, drill-down, and overall discoverability of insights.
- Analyze and interpret data to derive trends that aid decision-making.
- Work with various departments to understand their data needs and provide meaningful information to support their business decisions.
- Collaborate with the IT team for the development and maintenance of Azure Data Lake functionality.
- Integrate with third-party systems and develop new systems and reports as needed.
- Create insights that influence meaningful business decisions and troubleshoot data integrity issues, reporting findings across all business areas.
