Requirements
Must:
We are seeking a Software Engineer who possesses a strong commercial background working with one or more modern programming languages such as C#/.NET Core, TypeScript/JavaScript, or Golang. You should be skilled in building and deploying applications in cloud-hosted environments, ideally AWS or GCP, and have good knowledge of both relational and non-relational databases. Familiarity with continuous integration, automation, and containerization tools is essential. You will also need experience designing or consuming APIs and working with service-based or event-driven systems. An understanding of compliance or security standards around sensitive data handling is important. We are looking for a problem-solver who can communicate technical solutions to a range of audiences and is passionate about producing clean, scalable, and reliable code. Nice-to-have skills include exposure to payment systems or third-party integrations, identity/authentication services, scripting in Linux/macOS environments, or behavior-driven testing approaches.
Responsibilities
As a Software Engineer, you will contribute to the development and enhancement of our core services and platforms using a varied technology stack. You will play a key role in delivering new features and system improvements from concept through to release. Maintaining reliable and secure cloud-hosted systems and ensuring they perform at scale is part of your role. You will work closely with colleagues across engineering, product, and support teams to refine requirements and deliver effective solutions. Additionally, you will assist in investigating and resolving issues affecting customers or internal stakeholders. Taking ownership of technical tasks will be vital, ensuring they are well-defined, estimated, and delivered to a high standard. We encourage you to share knowledge and promote best practices through collaboration and code reviews.
