Must:
We are looking for a candidate with a minimum of 3 years of experience in an IT/Web Development role. You must have proven high-level scripting skills in PHP, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, MySQL, and AppleScript. A strong understanding of relational databases is essential, along with experience in AWS EC2, Linux, or equivalent cloud technologies. We value hands-on problem solvers with a solutions-driven ethos.
Desirable skills include experience or knowledge of Claris FileMaker and familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite. You should possess a degree or equivalent qualification in Computer Science or a related field. The ideal candidate will also be self-motivated, independent, and confident working in a standalone role, with excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. Being highly detail-oriented with effective time management and strong communication and interpersonal abilities is a must. A positive, proactive, and resilient attitude is essential. A driving license is desirable due to our factory's location.
Responsibilities
As our IT Systems & Website Developer, you will take sole responsibility for developing, maintaining, and improving our IT infrastructure and online presence. This is a standalone, office-based, hands-on role where you will thrive on scripting, building real-world solutions, and independently solving problems.
Your main duties will include writing, testing, and deploying scripts to reduce manual tasks and deliver innovative solutions, utilizing AppleScript, JavaScript, and FileMaker scripting to streamline internal workflows. You will build, script, and maintain automation across Mac OS and Windows systems and develop and maintain ERP and database solutions to enhance company processes.
Additionally, you will manage AWS EC2 (or equivalent cloud platforms) and Linux server technologies, ensuring robust data security and system reliability. You will also be responsible for developing and maintaining our company website using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, PHP, and MySQL, creating scripts and tools that improve usability, efficiency, and business integration. Providing day-to-day technical support to colleagues while troubleshooting and resolving hardware, software, and networking issues will be part of your role, along with documenting solutions for knowledge sharing. You will work closely with senior management to design smarter and scalable IT systems, actively seeking opportunities to improve efficiency, sustainability, and user experience.
