Requirements
Must:
- Strong hands-on experience with Pure Storage FlashArray / Evergreen
- Proven background in SAN/NAS migrations and VMware environments
- Solid understanding of NFS, SMB/CIFS, permissions, and authentication
- Pure Certified Migration Specialist (preferred)
- Ideally holding Live Security Clearance
Responsibilities
- Lead enterprise data migrations from legacy platforms to Pure Storage
- Design and deliver end-to-end migrations across block, file (NAS), and object storage
- Execute migrations using Pure Storage tools (Cirrus, VPLEX) and VMware Storage vMotion
- Manage NAS namespace consistency and backup migrations (Commvault or similar)
- Validate data integrity and performance post-migration
- Act as the Pure Storage Specialist, advising stakeholders and sharing best practices
- Produce clear migration documentation and hand over to internal teams
Description
We are looking for an experienced Storage Engineer to join our team on a 6-month contract in London, working in a hybrid model. This hands-on role focuses on delivering secure, zero-data-loss migrations with minimal downtime. You will collaborate closely with our internal teams and stakeholders, ensuring smooth migration processes while maintaining data integrity. We offer a dynamic work environment in Central London, where the role requires onsite presence for 2 days per week.
