Must:
We are looking for individuals with proven experience in API integration patterns and tools. You should possess a strong knowledge of OAuth2, API Keys, and signed URL authentication methods. Experience with MuleSoft or Apigee middleware integration is essential, along with hands-on expertise with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) Cloud Functions and Google Cloud Storage triggers. Familiarity with Data Locker Studio and proficiency in Excel-based reporting automation are also required. Additionally, a solid understanding of Azure DevOps Git for source control is necessary. Strong communication and documentation skills are vital, and a Google Cloud certification (such as Professional Cloud Developer or Cloud Engineer) is a plus. Experience working in agile/Scrum environments and exposure to data pipelines and event-driven architecture will enhance your profile.
Responsibilities
In this role, you will develop and manage RESTful API integrations using signed URLs, API Keys, and OAuth2. You will implement MuleSoft/Apigee (APG) request/response formats within integration workflows. You'll design and deploy Google Cloud Functions that respond to Google Cloud Storage triggers for event-driven automation. Additionally, you'll work collaboratively with Data Locker Studio for data management and transfer workflows. You will be responsible for creating and maintaining Excel-based reports with automated or semi-automated data sources. Using Azure DevOps Git, you will manage version control, branching, and conduct code reviews. Collaboration with cross-functional teams in an agile environment is key to ensuring that all integrations are secure, scalable, and adhere to cloud best practices.
Description
This is a 6-month rolling contract position based in Warwick, UK, with a hybrid working model requiring three days on-site per week. The day rate for this role is £380, which is inside IR35. We seek a skilled and detail-oriented GCP Integration-Focused Developer to join our team, where you will have the opportunity to design, build, and manage API-based integrations across the Google Cloud Platform, enabling secure, scalable, and high-performing solutions.
