Must:
We seek candidates with proven experience in Microsoft SharePoint Online architecture, design, and administration. A deep understanding of permissions and security models in SharePoint is essential. You should also have experience with site migration, site consolidation, and content optimization. The ideal candidate will possess the ability to bridge the gap between SharePoint admin troubleshooting and site design, enabling a proactive approach to both fixing issues and rethinking the platform for future use. Strong communication skills and a consultative mindset are also important for this role.
Responsibilities
In this temporary SharePoint Specialist position, I will have you conduct a thorough assessment of our current SharePoint Online sites and lead the design of an improved site architecture, emphasizing security, permissions models, and user experience. Your role will involve assessing the existing structure, usage, and governance of SharePoint Online sites while identifying issues, inefficiencies, and risks—especially concerning permissions and security. You will redesign the site architecture and permissions models for better scalability and usability, lead or support site migrations, consolidations, and restructures as necessary, and collaborate with internal teams to ensure our SharePoint structure aligns with business needs. Additionally, you will provide recommendations and create a roadmap for long-term SharePoint governance and best practices.
