Power Applications Developer (Contract)
Duration: 6 Months (Possibility for extension)
Location: London/Hybrid (2 days on site)
Rate: A highly competitive Umbrella Day Rate is available for suitable candidates
We are seeking a skilled candidate who possesses the following qualifications:
- Highly skilled in interpreting business requirements and translating them into operational capabilities.
- Proficient in the Microsoft Power Platform: Power Apps, Power Automate, and Power BI.
- Proven experience in workflow tool development as a Power Applications Architect or in a similar role.
- Familiarity with email traffic analysis, dashboard creation, and defect management systems.
- Strong expertise in Power BI, Snowflake, and data integration techniques.
- Experience integrating Power Platform tools with Microsoft services like Azure, Dynamics 365, and Office 365.
- Excellent understanding of corporate compliance and development standards.
- Strong problem-solving skills with meticulous attention to detail.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills.
- Experience with cloud services and platforms, particularly Azure.
- Familiarity with API development and integration.
- Ability to create custom applications using canvas and model-driven apps.
- Understanding of app design principles and integration with other services.
- Skilled in automating workflows, creating flows, and integrating with various data sources.
- Proficient in data visualization, report creation, dashboard development, and data modeling using DAX.
- Candidates must demonstrate evidence of the above in their CV to be considered.
Responsibilities
As our Power Applications Developer, you will be responsible for:
- Developing a robust workflow tool to capture email traffic, and translating it into actionable work queues and dashboards.
- Implementing a defect management and remediation system for user owners/operators.
- Designing and implementing integration with Snowflake data tables for generating ad hoc Power BI reports.
- Ensuring adherence to established development standards and compliance requirements.
- Creating insightful dashboards for real-time visibility into workflow processes and performance indicators.
- Collaborating with the Transformation Portfolio Manager and stakeholders to align project objectives with business needs.
- Providing technical leadership throughout the project lifecycle, from initial design through deployment and support.
- Maintaining comprehensive documentation of architecture, design decisions, and development processes.
- Implementing rigorous testing and quality assurance practices to ensure tool reliability and performance.
