Requirements
Must:
- Strong programming skills in Python (preferred), C#, Java, C++, or any other object-oriented or functional language.
- Familiarity with agile methodologies (XP, SCRUM, Kanban) and a passion for continuous integration and improvement.
- Experience building and supporting large-scale, high-availability financial systems.
- Outstanding problem-solving and analytical skills in high-stakes environments.
- A solid academic background, ideally in Computer Science, Physics, Engineering, Mathematics, or another analytical field.
- Deep knowledge of algorithms, data structures, and design patterns, with the ability to apply them effectively.
- Understanding of messaging middleware and TCP/IP networking.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with a strong team spirit.
- Comfortable with modern development practices, build environments, and testing tools.
- Front Office experience, ideally in FX, Fixed Income, or Derivatives trading environments.
- Experience providing third-line production support and interacting with business users.
Responsibilities
- Build and support high-performance, globally distributed financial systems critical to our trading operations.
- Collaborate with a team of exceptional engineers and traders to enhance system performance and reliability.
- Solve complex financial problems using state-of-the-art technologies.
- Ensure the systems are production-ready and provide third-line support as needed.
- Maintain and improve system performance through continuous development and integration.
