Requirements
Must:
We expect our Machine Learning Engineer to possess strong python programming skills and a good understanding of software engineering best practices. Experience with test-driven development (TDD), particularly using pytest or equivalent, is essential. You should have familiarity with cloud-native deployments currently in Databricks and Azure, as well as experience with managed endpoints, AKS or equivalent. Proficiency in version control systems and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) processes is expected. Additionally, you should be able to identify opportunities to apply machine learning knowledge to solve business problems and have experience in developing predictive and prescriptive analyses to derive key business insights.

Responsibilities
As our Machine Learning Engineer, you will take ownership of the deployment framework for all data science services. You will oversee how data flows into the data science life cycle from the wider business data warehouse. Automation of the data science life cycle, including dataset build, training, evaluation, deployment, and monitoring, will be a key focus when we move to production. You will work closely with data scientists, data engineers, and other technical teams, including pricing teams, to help support the maturation of our analytics practices. Moreover, writing high-quality python code using industry best practices for model training and deployment will be part of your daily responsibilities.
