Requirements
Must:
We are looking for a candidate with proficiency in programming languages such as Python, VB, Java, Simulink, and Matlab. Candidates should have a good understanding of CAD software, specifically 3DX CATIA, and Excel. The ability to adapt and understand new technology areas is essential, along with strong communication skills. Ideally, you should also have an understanding of propulsion systems, materials and material properties, as well as awareness of EDU, batteries, HV charging systems, and concepts related to electrical and mechanical systems, including machine learning and AI.
Responsibilities
As a Senior Engineer in Automation & Development, you will be responsible for determining automation and optimization requirements, developing code, and setting metrics and targets. You will convert manual processes into automated systems, reducing time and improving quality. Your role will include supporting methods reviews and contributing innovative ideas, as well as developing new process training materials. Additionally, you will create user guides and manuals to train CAE team members and undertake any other work assigned by your line manager.
Description
This role is multidisciplinary and involves working on both on-cycle and off-cycle programs. You will primarily focus on code development while collaborating closely with development engineers, analysts, and model builders. This position falls under Inside IR35.
