Deployment Engineer

- Deploy Windows 11 devices following a structured process. - Handle device rebuilds overnight and return them to end users. - Engage professionally with customers, ensuring clear communication and a smooth transition. - Follow predefined steps for device setup, including user login and profile completion. - Manage a room with multiple devices, ensuring timely completion of updates and installations. - Adhere to professional services standards. - Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve technical problems across hardware, software, and network components to ensure smooth operations. - Support routine updates, patches, and system checks for optimal performance and security of IT infrastructure. - Install, set up, and configure software applications, operating systems, and hardware devices to meet business needs. - Provide assistance with hardware-related issues, including setting up devices and coordinating repairs. - Offer technical assistance to end-users, guiding them through challenges and communicating complex concepts effectively. - Implement and monitor security protocols to safeguard sensitive data. - Maintain accurate records of technical issues and solutions for future reference. - Collaborate with other IT teams to ensure seamless operations. - Ensure all service requests are actioned and that users are informed of status. - Provide a mix of desk-side, remote, and static support as needed. - Assist as a project resource when required. - Identify and escalate patterns in calls to the IT Service Lead or Service Management team. - Collaborate with suppliers and vendors to resolve problems. - Support firm events requiring technical assistance for AV setup and troubleshooting.
