Requirements
Must:
- Minimum 5 years of procurement experience, focusing on software sourcing and licensing negotiations.
- Proven track record in managing high-value deals and complex negotiations with Tier 1 software vendors.
- Strong understanding of software licensing models such as SaaS, perpetual, subscription, and cloud.
- Ability to influence stakeholders and lead cross-functional project teams in a global matrix environment.
- Commercially sharp, analytical, and detail-oriented with a solutions-driven mindset.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder engagement, and contract management skills.
- Experience within a multinational corporate or business services environment is highly desirable.
- Degree qualified in a relevant field (Business, IT, Procurement, etc.).
- CIPS qualification (or progress toward it) is advantageous but not essential.
Responsibilities
- Lead sourcing and procurement initiatives for enterprise and specialized software solutions across the business.
- Manage commercial negotiations with major software vendors (e.g., Microsoft, Oracle, SAP, Adobe, Salesforce, ServiceNow).
- Partner with IT, Legal, Finance, and business units to align sourcing strategy with commercial and operational goals.
- Drive value creation through strategic supplier management, cost optimization, and licensing efficiency.
- Deliver savings and manage contract risk while supporting digital transformation projects.
- Monitor and stay abreast of software market trends, pricing models, and commercial innovations.
- Contribute to the development and refinement of category strategies, governance models, and supplier performance frameworks.
- Ensure compliance with global procurement policies, licensing regulations, and contract lifecycle processes.
